We just received this announcement from Maricarmen Cruz-Guilloty
Environmental Health and Justice Coordinator, Alaska Community Action on Toxics:
Please join this call with Connie Engel and Nancy Buermeyer of the Breast Cancer Fund. They will discuss a new government report Breast Cancer and the Environment: Prioritizing Prevention. This report concludes that preventing exposure to environmental risk factors is the most promising path to decrease the incidence of breast cancer. The report includes a large survey of peer-reviewed science on breast cancer and the environment, and finds that environmental factors such as toxic chemical exposure increase breast cancer risk. (Something ACAT and the Breast Cancer Fund have known a long time) Please join this free call. Sign up here.
